Al-Asr, (Arabic: العصر, The Declining Day, Eventide, The Age, Time) is the 103rd part (sūrah) of the Qur'ān, the Muslim heavenly book. It contains three āyāt or refrains. Surat al-'Asr is the third most brief section after Al-Kawthar and Al-Nasr, being more limited than Al-Nasr by just two words in the third stanza.
