Al-Waqi'a (Arabic: الواقعة; "The Inevitable" or "The Event") is the 56th surah (part) of the Quran. Muslims accept it was uncovered in Mecca (see Meccan surah), explicitly about 7 years before the Hijrah (622), the movement of Muhammad to Medina. The absolute number of refrains in this surah is 96.
