Al-Fath (Arabic: الفتح, al-fatḥ; signifying: "Triumph" , "Win") is the 48th part (surah) of the Qur'an with 29 refrains (ayat). The surah was uncovered in Madinah in the 6th year of the Hijrah, on the event of the Settlement of Hudaybiyyah between the Muslim city-province of Madinah and Makkan polytheists.
