Surah At-Tin (سورة التين) is the 95th surah (chapter) of the Quran. It is a short surah consisting of 8 verses. Below is the English translation of Surah At-Tin:
1. By the fig and the olive,2. And [by] Mount Sinai,3. And [by] this secure city [Makkah],4. We have certainly created man in the best of stature;5. Then We return him to the lowest of the low,6. Except for those who believe and do righteous deeds, for they will have a reward uninterrupted.7. So what yet causes you to deny the Recompense?8. Is not Allah the most just of judges?
The surah begins with oaths swearing by significant creations of Allah, including the fig, the olive, and Mount Sinai. It emphasizes the creation of man in the best form and then his potential to fall to the lowest state. However, those who believe in Allah and perform righteous deeds will be rewarded without any interruption. The surah challenges the denial of the Day of Judgment and asserts the absolute justice of Allah as the ultimate Judge.
