Al-Ḥāqqah (Arabic: الحاقة) is the 69th section (sūrah) of the Qur'an with 52 refrains (āyāt). There are a few English names under which the surah is known. These incorporate "The Inescapable Hour", "The Undeniable", "The Unavoidable Truth", and "The Truth". These titles are gotten from substitute interpretations of al-Ḥāqqa, the word that shows up in the initial three ayat of the sura, each implying the principal subject of the sura - the Day of Judgment.
