Maryam (Arabic: مريم, Maryam; Arabic equivalent of "Mary") is the nineteenth section (sūrah) of the Qur'an with 98 stanzas (āyāt). The 114 parts in the Quran are generally requested by size. The Quranic part is named after Mary, mother of Jesus (Isa), and the Virgin Mary in Christian conviction.
