Az-Zumar (Arabic: الزمر, 'az-zumar; signifying: "The Soldiers, The Crowds") is the 39th section (surah) of the Qur'an, the focal strict text of Islam. It contains 75 sections (ayat). This surah gets its name from the Arabic word zumar (troops) that happens in refrains 71 and 73. With respect to timing and relevant foundation of the trusted disclosure (asbāb al-nuzūl), it is accepted to have been uncovered in the mid-Maccan period[1] when oppressions of the Muslim adherents by the polytheists had heightened.
