Bismillahhir-Rahmanir-Rahim

  1. Alam nashrah laka sadrak
  2. Wa wada'na 'anka wizrak
  3. Allathee anqada thahrak
  4. Warafa'na laka dhikrak
  5. Fa-inna ma'al 'usri yusra
  6. Innama'al 'usri yusra
  7. Fa-itha faraghta fansab
  8. Wa-ilaa rabbika farghab

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
أَلَمْ نَشْرَحْ لَكَ صَدْرَكَ
وَوَضَعْنَا عَنكَ وِزْرَكَ
ٱلَّذِىٓ أَنقَضَ ظَهْرَكَ
وَرَفَعْنَا لَكَ ذِكْرَكَ
فَإِنَّ مَعَ ٱلْعُسْرِ يُسْرًا
إِنَّ مَعَ ٱلْعُسْرِ يُسْرًا
فَإِذَا فَرَغْتَ فَٱنصَبْ
وَإِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ فَٱرْغَبْ

Surah Alam Nashrah English Translation

Surah Alam Nashrah, also known as Surah Ash-Sharh, is the 94th chapter of the Qur'an. Here is the English translation of Surah Alam Nashrah:

"In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

  1. Did We not expand for you, [O Muhammad], your breast?
  2. And We removed from you your burden
  3. Which had weighed upon your back
  4. And raised high for you your repute.
  5. For indeed, with hardship [will be] ease.
  6. Indeed, with hardship [will be] ease.
  7. So when you have finished [your duties], then stand up [for worship].
  8. And to your Lord direct [your] longing."
